📡 How it works end-to-end:

📡 GT06 Tracker
TCP Binary
🚂 Railway / Traccar
TCP Port 5023
🔗 Webhook
HTTP POST
📱 Your App
Live Tracking
💡These 3 files are everything Railway needs. Download them, then upload to GitHub (or drag into Railway directly).

⭐ Easiest Option — Deploy Docker Image Directly (No Files Needed!)

Skip all files. In Railway → New Project → Deploy Docker Image → paste this image name:

traccar/traccar:latest

That's it! Railway pulls the image automatically. Then just configure ports (Step 3).

— OR — Download files for GitHub-based deploy:

🐳

Dockerfile

⚠️ No .txt extension!

⚙️

docker-compose.yml

For local testing too

📄

traccar.xml

Server config (English)

⚠️If you download Dockerfile and Windows adds ".txt" — rename it in GitHub editor to just Dockerfile with no extension.
Open Railway.app

Method A — Docker Image (Easiest, recommended):

  1. 1Sign up / login at railway.app (use GitHub or Google)
  2. 2Click New Project → Deploy a Docker Image
  3. 3Paste image name: traccar/traccar:latest → click Deploy Now
  4. 4Wait 1–2 minutes. Watch Build Logs for: Traccar server started
  5. 5✅ Deployment done! Now go to Step 3 to open TCP ports.

Method B — From GitHub repo (with downloaded files):

  1. 1Create a new GitHub repository (e.g. my-traccar)
  2. 2Upload the 3 downloaded files into that repo
  3. 3In Railway: New Project → Deploy from GitHub repo → select your repo
  4. 4If Railway says 'Railpack error': Service → Settings → Build → change Builder from Railpack to Dockerfile → Redeploy
💡Railway Hobby Plan costs $5/month. There is also a free trial. For GT06 trackers this is more than enough.

⚠️ You need TWO separate TCP Proxy ports:

Port 1 — GT06 Tracker (binary)

Application Port: 5023

Used for: physical GT06/GT06N tracker SMS SERVER command

✅ You already have this: tramway.proxy.rlwy.net:40504

Port 2 — OsmAnd / HTTP (for test page)

Application Port: 5055

Used for: GPS Demo Tracker test page & OsmAnd apps

❌ You need to ADD this new proxy!

Add the second TCP Proxy (for OsmAnd/HTTP port 5055):

  1. 1In Railway, click on your Traccar service
  2. 2Go to Settings tab → scroll to Networking section
  3. 3Click "Add TCP Proxy" button again
  4. 4Set Application Port: 5055 → click Add
  5. 5Railway gives you a NEW port number (e.g. tramway.proxy.rlwy.net:XXXXX)
  6. 6📝 Save this NEW port — use it in the GPS Demo Tracker test page

After this step you will have TWO proxy ports:

📡 GT06 Tracker SMS command

SERVER,0,tramway.proxy.rlwy.net,40504,0

🖥️ GPS Demo Tracker test page

Host: tramway.proxy.rlwy.net, Port: NEW PORT

Also open HTTP port for Traccar Dashboard:

  1. Settings → Networking → Generate Domain (this opens port 8082)
  2. Visit that URL to open the Traccar web dashboard
  3. First time: it shows a registration form — create admin account
⚠️Send each SMS from your mobile phone to the SIM number inside the tracker. Wait for a reply before sending the next one.

Step 4a — Set APN (choose your SIM operator):

APN,gpinternet
Grameenphone (GP)
APN,internet
Robi / Airtel
APN,blweb
Banglalink
APN,mobileinternet
Airtel (alternative)

Step 4b — Set your Railway server address:

SERVER,0,[Railway_hostname],[Railway_TCP_port],0

# Your Railway TCP address:

SERVER,0,tramway.proxy.rlwy.net,40504,0

Step 4c — Other important commands:

ADMIN,0,01XXXXXXXXX#

Set your mobile as admin (replace with your number)

TIMER,60

Send location every 60 seconds

CHECK

Check status — reply shows GPRS:ON if connected

✅ Successful CHECK reply looks like:

imei:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX,Volt:4.10V,GSM:5,GPS:A,Speed:0,GPRS:ON

• GPRS:ON = Internet connected to Railway ✅

• GPS:A = GPS has signal ✅

• GPS:V = No GPS signal (take device outside) ❌

💡Enter your Railway server details below and click Test. This simulates a real tracker connecting and sending GPS data to your Railway server.

Enter your Railway TCP proxy details:

💡For a full real-tracker simulation (live moving GPS with IMEI), use the GPS Demo Tracker page — it behaves exactly like a real physical tracker.

In Traccar Dashboard → Setup Webhook:

  1. 1Log into your Traccar Dashboard (Railway HTTP URL)
  2. 2Menu (top right) → Notifications → click + Add
  3. 3Type: select Web
  4. 4Paste the webhook URL below into the URL field
  5. 5Notify By: check Web
  6. 6Always Notify: turn ON
  7. 7Click Save

Your Base44 Webhook URL — paste this into Traccar:

https://comilla.base44.app/api/functions/gpsWebhook
✅Once saved, every time your tracker sends a location update, Traccar will POST it to Base44 automatically. Your live tracking map will update in real time!
